The Chapel Building 8-10 Basing Street
We carried out a full façade restoration to this Grade II listed former Chapel building which had been used as a famous recording studio where many artists have recorded award winning tracks and albums in the studio facilities including Bob Marley and the Wailers, Led Zeppelin and the recording of the Band Aid song and video.
Our work on this Romanesque style 1860s Listed building included a DOFF clean, full brick repointing, extensive stone repairs to all decorative features and mouldings also every window cill was cast insitu and bespoke to fit the various size windows and hundreds of bricks replaced.
